Reserved Site Name

    I tried to create a new free wordpress site named theimplant and ended up with theimplant581368728.wordpress.com. Not what I wanted. In trying to change the name I got the message that the site theimplant.wordpress.com was reserved yet the site does not exist. How can I find out who has the site reserved or how can I create the site with the desired domain name?

    That site address is unavailable to anyone else as it is reserved for the person who created a WordPress.com account with the same name.
    You could change the address of your site to just have one or two numbers instead of nine. (You didn’t have to accept the first address offered). Or perhaps you could use one of the new free subdomains with the address of your choice.
