Reserved site that I would like

Hello WP community!
I’m new here and I’m all pumped up about blogging about my culinary adventures :)However, at signup I’ve noticed that I couldn’t get my first choice of blog subdomain and I’m wondering whether there’s a way of getting it? It says the site is reserved although it doesn’t seem to exists.
The blog I’m talking about is lapuh.wordpress.com.Thanks!

When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.
If you own the username account then you can log out, clear your browser cache and cookies and then log in as Admin under the correct matching username account and register the blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/ If you don’t own that username account then you cannot register the reserved blog.

You’re welcome. Do know that if you are serious about blogging over the long term you can purchase your own domain via a domain mapping upgrade. When domain mapping it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com URL is. See here if you are interested http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
