Reserved URL?
-
I went to make a WordPress blog and the URL I wanted was “reserved”. Is there a way to contact WordPress in regards to this? It’s my understanding that choosing a username automatically assigns the same name to a URL.. Is there a way to have this URL if no one is using it?
Aghhhh. Thanks in advance X
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No – WordPress.COM respects the privacy of accounts and will not give out info without a valid court order from a US court compelling them to release the info

I’m not asking for their account info? I am just wondering if it’s possible to obtain that URL if it’s NOT being used

No, there isn’t. Staff won’t give you their contact details, and won’t contact them on your behalf. If you really want a particular URL, I suggest the Custom Domain and Mapping upgrades, so you end up with a whatever.com domain instead of whatever.wordpress.com.

When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.
