reserved url?

    I think that my url is supposed to be newsocrates.wordpress.com. But that just brings a wordpress screen saying that the url ‘doesn’t exist.’ and ‘The address newsocrates.wordpress.com cannot be registered. Sorry, that site is reserved! But you can sign up and choose another one.’ What have I done wrong?

    Hi there:

    You’re unable to register the URL newsocrates.wordpress.com because that URL has been reserved.

    When a WordPress.com user signs up for an account, we reserve the URL of their username. So if they signed up for the username of exampleuser we would reserve exampleuser.wordpress.com for them. There is nothing we can do to unreserve it and you will need to choose a different name.
