Reserved WordPress name

  I have a problem… I want to register a blog name, but it says that it’s reserved. When I search for it, there’s no page with that name…

  Can someone help me get the blog name that I want?

  Daniel,

  I *think* I read somewhere on the forum ages ago that someone else posed the same question and that the answer was that once a blog name has been used, it remains unavailable for re-use even if the blog it was attached to has been deleted.

  I’m not tech savvy at all and am just a fellow blogger with no special experience so maybe someone could jump in and confirm if this is actually correct or not, but basically if the name is unavailable then it’s never going to “become available” again (I don’t know why) so you will sadly have to look for a different blog name.

  When an account is opened, WordPress.COM now reserves a blog for the account name
