Reset Blog Page because I accidentally deleted some of the code and it's messed

  I’m building my WP site and was trying to fix one problem I was having and think I accidentally deleted whatever puts the blog post ONTO my blog page. Is there any way to reset the blog page only back to the original version that was created by WP? What it was like when I started to create the site in WP? Please help. I’m lost and frustrated. Thanks.

  Hi there,

  Your site is not using WordPress.com, but the open source WordPress software found over on WordPress.org. As such we have no access to your site to check what’s going on here.

  I’m going to guess you don’t have the “Blog” page set as your posts page. You should be able to fix that at Settings ->Reading in the dashboard.

  Your site is using the the open source WordPress software found over on WordPress.org and is hosted by Godaddy, https://www.whoishostingthis.com/?q=thethriftydrifters.com, and that’s what you are paying for.

  Who gives support for what I’m paying for?

  Where did you purchase this from?

  There are 2 versions of WordPress. What we do here at WordPress.com varies from using the open source, WordPress installation.

  Help with that version of WordPress comes from the community forums at wordpress.org/support/ and there is not a charge for using them.

  I signed up and paid on Godaddy. They won’t help me because it’s a WordPress site.

  What you paid for is your hosting from GoDaddy, I assume.

  WordPress support is free. Just head over to the community forums at wordpress.org/support/

  WordPress.com (here) is different from using the WordPress installation with a hosting provider – that is what you’ve set up.
