Reset FTP Directory Root?
-
Is there a way to undo that or reset my FTP root access folder/permissions?
I need to append ~core/6.x.x/.htaccess for litespeed cache CDN, but I downloaded a file manager that isn’t showing hidden files and appears that plugin rerouted my root folder so it’s now inaccessible via FTP. I deleted the file manager, but evidently that didn’t undo everything the file manager changed and there is still no FTP access to the /wordpress/ directory.

Hey there,
In order to provide the best hosting experience, some files such as the core WordPress files are not accessible via SFTP. You can find more information about this here.
We also include Jetpack’s Site Accelerator which is our CDN service as part of your hosting plan. You can learn more about this feature and manage options here.
Additionally, WordPress.com uses NGINX servers that do not use .htaccess files, so it is not possible to access or edit the file.
If you still wish to use a third-party CDN service, Cloudflare offers a compatible CDN service which you can learn more about, or set up here.
Hope this helps!
