Reset password, cannot log in using auto generated password.

I reset the password to one of our accounts, and chose to have the password automatically generated. We are still unable to access this account with the generated password that was sent to its associated email. Any advice to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah this blog is hosted through WordPress. We are using this to test themes for our site. I was trying to give access to another user, and they indicated that they were unable to log in. We tried to reset the password and WordPress sent them an email with a ‘new’ password that was auto-generated. That password did not work for us either.

wspgmr is the account we are trying to reset. The email associated with that account is still active.

Hi, yes we do. Both times we have reset the password, and we are still unable to gain access to this account.

How strange! I haven’t heard of this happening before. Can you request a new password by entering your email address here:

The user for that account is in another building, I followed the reset password link, and am waiting to hear back from him.

We were successful in resetting the password and gaining access to the account. Third try is a charm I suppose :) Thank you @gracejiyoung and @timethief!
