Reset Password mess, I desperately need help!

Hi,
Ok so I’m in a big mess and, to my knowledge, am completely screwed. I really need some help here so please read on!
Ok so basically I have my email (email visible only to moderators and staff) and I recently noticed I’m not receiving emails anymore. I’ve discovered this is probably because my domain, skisma.net, expired a while back.
Upon discovering this I figured I need to renew my domain ASAP because I have very important mail coming to me that I’m not able to receive.
I haven’t logged into WordPress in a while so naturally I forgot my password. I had it reset and then realized the email I have setup is the one that is currently broken! I don’t believe I have my phone number setup because I didn’t receive an SMS code either.
So now I don’t know what to do. I really need to get into my account to renew my domain. How can I get my password reset?

Ok wow after reading that this real scares me! I do not want to lose my domain! I didn’t know any of this information, I just figured it would be available (as long as no one else purchased it) whenever I decided to renew it for the same price.
Ok so what about getting me to be able to login?

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and renew any upgrades at > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
My guess is you will have to use account recovery https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit the form to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

If you cannot remember or have lost the login information for a WordPress.com account, your best bet is to try the account recovery process here:

However, you are posting from the user account that owns skisma.net. You should be able to go to your site’s dashboard:
http://harleyskismagomez.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
And then click on Store–> My Upgrades to renew your domain.

Ahh thanks guys! That was really simple, sorry I just panicked.
Since the domain is expired, is it completed locked? The “update primary domain” button is greyed out. I’ll gladly pay the 18 dollars right now if I means I can get it back. Unfortunately, I have a feeling it’s going to be much more than 18 to get it back based on the article provided above.

Yes. Sadly, your domain has lapsed into the “redemption” period of the domain expiration process. This incurs an $80 late fee on top of the $18 renewal. This is a fee imposed by the registrar and there is nothing that WordPress.com can do to waive it.

Ouch ok. Well I can’t pay 98 dollars at the moment. If I let it sit longer will this fee grow? Or is 80 dollars as bad as it’s going to get?

$80 is a bad as it gets. However, there is a timelimit. The Redemption period ends 2014-08-16. After that, the domain will work itself through the rest of the expiration process.
If nobody else grabs it, it will eventually end up available to be registered again for the typical $18/yr.

Ok so based on that article, if no one bids on it while it’s in redemption status, it should be released back into the pool of available domains on after the 16th…correct?
Is there any way at all I can check to see if it’s bring bid on? I mean, there has to be some place I can go. I honestly don’t think it’ll be bid on bc skisma is a pretty uncommon word/name…I made it up and it’s my online gaming identity.

Keep in mind that this is my personal opinion, but I do not think that it will be bid on either. It is a pretty unique name. That having been said, stranger domains have been swiped.

Where can I check to see if my domain has been released to be purchased again for 18 dollars? It’s not after the 16th and I would like to purchase it ASAP. Thanks.
