Reset Piano Black default colors – links
-
Piano black theme color reset -we’ve been trialling lots of color & theme options & seems to have confused the WordPress back end: the link colors are now persistently dark (i.e. black on black), & the new Customize options don’t cover it – is there any way to reset the original contrasting light color against dark background? There is no such thing here as a reset button. You have to remove everything you changed so the theme becomes as it was before your made changes. All of these functions can be accessed from your dashboard – without loading the custom design tools – no upgrade required.
Appearance > Header
Appearance > Background
Appearance > Theme Options (applicable only to some themes)
Settings > Reading (set a static front page)
Site Title and Tagline > Settings > General -
T,
honoured to get a reply from you, you give such great advice. So you prompted me to look again…Sure enough it’s a case of browser stupidity; went back to site this morning, still black text on black background (amusing to Hitchhiker’s Guide fans); double checked I’d set theme colors to defaults, then cleared Firefox cache and forced browser refresh with ctrl-f5. And lo! Pristine and readable links.
There must be a category for this kind of forehead slap…
Many thanks. RC -
