Reset site
-
I have a wordpress.com site. I just set it up and played around with the formatting until it was thoroughly messed up. Now I’d like a clean-sheet reset, but can’t figure out how to do that.
The help documentation has an ’empty site’ page, but it only mentions deleting content. I also found a reset plugin, but that seems to be only for wordpress.org.
Any help would be appreciated. I’d like to keep my domain, but don’t care about losing content. It was just a couple of test posts.

Hi there,
I know how frustrating this can be. Been there before. Please let u know your site URL?
So if you’d like to use a reset plugin of course you can. It’s not only for WordPress.org. To be able to use the plugin features, you’ll need to upgrade your plan to the Business Plan</>. Have a look at the plan for more advanced features you can have.
If you’d like to keep using your current domain then you can Empty your site by just deleting everything in Bulk Actions. And you’re good to go from scratch.
If you’d like a staff to see through this please provide your URL address and add the tag modlock in the next reply.

Hi @nomadicpulse, to get the staff attention you’ll add the tag modlook.
@cdg07, we can help you empty your site but the effect will be the same as emptying your site manually, as @nomadicpulse mentioned above. It will not reset your settings or bring back your original theme. You’ll rather want to change your theme directly. If you’d like us to remove all your content (posts, pages, tags, comments, media files, etc.), please confirm the address of the site you’d like to empty.

OK. I understand. I’m new to wysiwyg editors, but I think I’m figuring it out.
Thanks for the help
