how do I go about resetting the Theme to ‘factory settings’?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no such setting here. We simply undo what we have done to restore the site/theme to default.
Every theme has a detailed theme description page like this one at https://wordpress.com/themes/pique/ That’s where set up instructions for it are found. The live demo site is at https://piquedemo.wordpress.com/
You must be logged in under the username account that registered the site first. Then to empty the site you have two options:
(1) Doing this quickly and easily yourself http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
(2) Waiting in a queue and having Staff do it for you.If you have a lot of content Staff can empty the whole blog for you. That will remove all data including posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, and uploaded files and once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or blog content does not remove indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results after it produces a 404 (page not found):

(1) confirm the URL of the blog(s) you want them to empty;
(2) confirm that you know content deletion is irreversible. -

I’m trying to change my theme to Dyad but I still see the original theme. foodie2luv.com. Can you reset or change the theme for me? -
I have totally messed up. I tried to enhance by changing to a different them and now it just looks a mess. http://www.cathiedevitt.com I don’t want to lose my content and I am struggling to customize to a format that looks good. Is there a way I can unpublish the site ( withut deleting the content) while I try and sort it? I don’t know what my previous theme name was.

Did you also need your site reset?
If so, there are two ways I can run the tool we have for you :)
1. Add the demo content and orignal settings for the theme (this may mean you have some extra or doubled posts/pages that need to be moved around
2. Complete reset which will delete all of your site’s content. This deletion cannot be reversed, so please make sure that’s what you want to do!). Your content would then be replaced with the theme’s demo content.If you’d like me to do either of those things, please confirm:
1. the address of the site
2. which option you’d like
3. that you are sure you want your content deleted (if you’ve chosen the second option -
