Reset theme to default

I want to reset my current theme to the default but I don’t know how. I googled it and people are recommending using a plugin but there doesn’t seem to be a plugin for that.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi There,
Your WordPress.com account already has all of the main plugins installed and there is not an ability to add more, but there are ways to clear your content if that is what you are looking to do or change your theme?

There isn’t an exact “reset” button per say, but there are a few different ways that you could possibly have the theme back to it’s original look, etc.

Before offering any advice, I just wanted to get more information from you on what it is you are most interested in reseting? (Content, changes you made to the theme, etc) That way I can better assist you with this! :)
    Thanks

  • Hi @maxgrcia!

To add to @jenlynnemc’s questions – let me know if the goal is to reset your site to your current theme (Twenty Sixteen) to a default state with demo content and settings (so it looks as much like the demo site as possible).

If that’s what you need I can take care of that for you, just let me know if you’d like a complete reset – which deletes any content you’ve added (posts, images, everything) or if you’d like your current content left in place (there may be some duplicate posts or pages with this option).
