resetting credentials
-
The person who originated this site no longer has the email account she used and is no longer with the organization. The only P/W she remembers does not work. The site is badly out of date and needs editing. It falls to me as treasurer of the organization to do this but without the email account, I can’t ask for a password reset. Any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
We are not able to help here in the support forums, as verifying account ownership requires us to ask you to provide info that is best not shared in this public venue.
With this in mind, please fill out this form here to the best of your ability: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
This will send all the info you have to our account recovery team, and from there they will contact you directly to assist you in regaining access to the account that owns the site you are trying to access.
Thanks!

I can’t submit this form as I don’t have any of the three documentations required. We really need to get access to this site somehow or have it taken down. There must be some way to do this. Please help anyone with an idea.

We would need one of those forms of proof to be able to recover the account, so there is not really another way in this case.

Have they tried to send themselves a login link using the username or email address they had their account set up under? https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
They would be able to regain access to the site that way, then transfer to you using these steps: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
