Resetting Password

I have tried 4-5 times to reset my password. Each time it comes back with ‘You have recently used that password – try something new.’ I have never used any of the passwords I suggested. In fact, the last one I tried was: ‘IHaveNeverUsedThisPasswordBeforeInMyLife’. It still told me that I had recently used that password.
I received a notice from another website that a password I had used there had been compromised, which is why I am systematically changing all the passwords I use on the web. Please let me know how I can get around this and change my password ASAP.
