Resetting password does not work i.e. still cannot log in

  The problem is with another web site of mine, ProgrammePlus.

  I could not log in this evening with my then current password.

  I successfully changed the password i.e. the “Password Reset” message came to my correct e-address and I clicked on it.

  I still could not log in with the new password.

  I successfully changed the password again; WordPress did not allow me to set it to the newly changed password just now.

  I still cannot log in with the new, new password.

  Please advise?

  1 – I changed something in the file functions.php and now it shows me:
  Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’ in /home/gipca167/public_html/wp-content/themes/storefront/functions.php on line 54
  I tried fix but I haven’t access to WordPress anymore.
  2 – My web site doesn’t work and I tried to log in WordPress and it shows
  login error … my email account doesn’t exist or username.

  3 – I tried recover the files through FileZilla but I can’t connect because occurs error with my password.

  How can I fix this?

  That site is not on our WordPress.COM servers and we cannot help you.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, support docs and support forums, and many people get confused about the two.

  This is wordpress.COM support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
  (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
  (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.
  (3) sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
