Resetting the “blog stats”

When clicking on “Dashboard” –> “Blog Stats” you get all kinds of information about clicks on your blog.

Well, I’ve been playing around for the past week trying to understand the features that Word Press offers, so all the statistics up to this point are just me playing around.

Now, that I’m reading to start using my blog for real, I was wondering if there was a way to reset the stats back to 0 so that future stats will represent actual hits on my blog?

    Not possible here @ wordpress.COM

That was my guess. I was hoping I had missed a page/link/setting somewhere.

If you are logged into your account when clicking around on your blog, you don’t show up in your own stats. Or are you talking about something else?

I know that now, but when I started playing I was not logged in so I was just treated like a regular visitor, which is why I was hoping I could reset the stats.

It’s more meaningful to develop other stats. I’m the world’s most obsessive blog-checker but even I know that developing readership will drown out those hits in a matter of days.
