Resize Images in Bulk?
-
Last night I changed from Bueno to Contempt.
When I switched to the Contempt theme, about 200 pictures on several pages had the right side cut off. Is there a way to resize all those pictures in bulk, or do I have to do each one individually!
Thanks!

Unfortunately, there is no way to resize pictures in bulk.
The only bulk action with images in the media library is “delete permanently” and you don’t want that!
You must go to each post and edit each picture individually.

You could change to another theme that is the same width or wider than Bueno:
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/23/maximum-image-width/But if I had to do such an onerous task, I’d put on a good CD, then copy the html of the affected posts to a text editor and search/highlight the words “width =” so I wouldn’t strain my eyes searching the code to modify it.
Faster than using the multi-click process of the visual editor.
If all the “width=”s are the same, you could even use the find and replace auto-function. (of course, you’d have to do the find/replace for the “height=” code as well.)

You are the bearer of bad news, but I thank you. Aargh!
Looks like it’s back to Bueno until we have a rainy weekend.
