Resize product image on product pages

That’s exactly what I need but just different code, because the code provided in that forum keeps the image cropped.
So I can make the image smaller with that code but it remains cropped for some reason

For example that’s my website and the curtain’s top gets cut off so I need to make it smaller without it being locked to crop or something.Can someone please help me?
