Resize thumbnails – Edin Theme

Hi there, I’m new to WordPress editing and CSS in particular.

Can anyone tell me how I can change the size of the thumbnails of the featured images showing at http://foxandbeagle.com/recipes/ – you will see that a number of these are awkwardly sized/cropped so parts are missing.

The only options for thumbnail ratios are 1:1 or 4:3 (landscape). Is there some way I can change this, or edit the images so they fit the thumbnails correctly?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Honestly, they look pretty good from my end. Can you be more specific about which one is off?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Maybe I’m not explaining myself very well…

To me, the Lady Pamlplemousse would look better slightly taller so the base of the cup is in shot, the Chai Manhattan is off centre so the right hand side of the glass has been chopped off and the corpse reviver 2.0 could be taller so the top of the glass is in shot.

The theme you’re using will set a specific image dimension for those posts. In this case it’s 330 x 330 for the recipes page. You may want to try resizing that image so that it’s proportional to that set dimension, for example, 990 x 990 (I’m considering the appearance of the image on the drinks single post page as well).

Give this a try on your “Lady Pamlplemousse” post:
