Resize width of comment nesting
-
Hi, my site is http://www.jqmarks.com, I’m trying to figure out a way to decrease the indent of nested comments. I have a few friends with whom I plan to have engaged dialogues on the site, so I’ve widened the size of the page to make a little more room so that several levels of nesting will still be readable, but I’m finding that each new level is so far indented to the right, it really wastes a whole bunch of white space that could otherwise be taken up by words!
I’m using the White as Milk theme, and I’m not sure whether nest indent width is something that could be changed in the theme CSS, or if it’s perhaps just a WordPress fixture I can’t do anything about.
This page – http://www.jqmarks.com/archives/93#comments – is a good example of the long comments we’re going to be threading together. I’ve fiddled around with a few things in the CSS (like I said, I was able to widen the page size and resize the sidebar and main body to my liking), but (a) I am an amateur, and (b) I haven’t been able to find anything to adjust what I’m trying to adjust.
If anyone has any suggestions for what to try, or if I just have to accept it as is, either way I’ll be grateful to know :) Also, obviously, let me know if you need anymore info from me.
