Resizing Gallery Widget

  I currently have a Gallery Widget at bottom of page. The Gallery is in the form of a slideshow with one image. I want the image to be ‘Full Size’. I tried to do this by selecting the image and then choosing ‘Full Size’ as the option. However, for some reason it always reverts back to ‘Thumbnail’ once the selection is made. It seems to be doing this automatically. Can you please explain to me how I can make the image ‘Full Size’. Thank you.

  Can you tell me which editor you are working from? The classic wp-admin or the new version? Or are you using an app?
