Resizing Graphics and the Page

    Hello WordPress Forum,
    1)I cannot figure out how to change the sizes of the two graphics on my homepage (the Warrior patch and the red flag). I adjust them physically in the “visual” menu, or resize them using pixel numbers in the “text” menu, I push the “update” button, it looks to be the size I just edited to be, but when I look at the site as a normal viewer they graphics display as their original sizes.
    2) Can wordpress websites expand horizontally to fill the monitor space? It seems to be locked to only expand to about 2/3rd of the monitor?
