Resizing Header Image

    I inserted a new header image to my site, a smaller image than the last one, but somehow the new one is severely truncated on the top and bottom. Cropping makes no difference. Is there a way to resize my header image WITHOUT digging into the coding? My site is maintained via volunteerism, and editing code is too much for a non-dedicated IT position.

    (I am using the Twenty Seventeen theme, but not married to it.)

    Hey slateskies,

    According to the theme documentation, the size of the header image should be 2000px * 1200px.

    Right now, you haven’t set a homepage that’s why you’re seeing the smaller version of the header image.

    On the homepage, it will not get cropped. Please check the demo.

    Sorry, I logged in using my personal account, but my issue isn’t with my personal site. I couldn’t log into the forum using the account I use to maintain this site, which is the site I’ve run into the issue. My header image is exactly 2000 x 1200 px, and is truncated as you can see. Even worse on non-home pages.

    Hello,

    https://www.d12dems.org/ is currently running a self-hosted version of WordPress, which is not the same as websites running on WordPress.com. You can find more information regarding the difference between the two flavors here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Did you previously host the domain with WP.com? If not, you might not have an account with the domain assigned to it. You may try contacting Digital Ocean (where the domain is currently hosted) to gain access to your hosting account.
