Resizing Header with Neo-Sapien

  • Unknown's avatar

I’ve got the custom-css upgrade and have started out with the Neo-Sapien template. I’ve made the revisions in the stylesheet to allow for a wider header and inserted the link to image I wanted to use but it keeps being “force cropped” to the original size specified in the template. Prior to css upgrade I had linked my image through the custom-header pane which (I had wrongly assumed) would be over-ridden by my modifying the css. Playing with the repeat tag would either have my image filling the background completely (but covered over by the cropped custom-header) or just appearing as cropped. Resetting the custom-header to the original also screwed up as now I’ve got the original image cropped badly and the image entered via css not appearing at all. What am I doing wrong?

This will have to wait for devblog to come through the forums (hopefully he does) as I cannot figure it out.

I got it figured out. I simply set #header image {display:none;} and then inserted my own image url into the background-image of #header.

Glad you got it worked out.
