Resizing images from old posts when switching to

  • Unknown's avatar

We run a newsroom within our website: http://www.toptenwholesale.com/news/ and are currently switching to a new modern them with different aspect ratios (from 3:1 to 16:9). The issue is that we have just under 2,000 old posts using images sized to the 3:1 ratio and are worried the images will become distorted when we implement the new layout. The only thing we can think of here is to replace the old imagery manually. Is there a tool or plugin we could use to automatically either insert new imagery or have the old images remain at their current size with out distortion?

    Hi there,

You can use a plugin to regenerate the images at the new dimensions (defined by your theme):

    Regenerate Thumbnails
