Resizing images in new editor is too limited

    Cannot properly edit size of images anymore.

    Recently, I ran into the problem that the new editor only has very rough settings for an image size. I need that because my blog contains diagrams which are rather size-sensitive, make the too small and they cannot be read properly, make them too big and the whole thing is ugly.

    So, someone (I think it was support staff) pointed me back to the old editor via the menu.

    Now, that option is gone too. I can’t get the old editor anymore.

    Lest you guys forget at WordPress: please reinstate the fine grained control over image sizes in blog posts.

    +1 The new format is terrible.

    Hah, now I have egg on my face: you can directly manipulate the graphical objects (resizing them). Select the object and drag the corners.

    So no problem here.

    I must say, many new UI designs these days are incredibly wasteful in terms or screen real estate. I would love it to have some sort of compact setting so I can work decently with it on a smaller laptop screen.
