Resizing Instagram Embed block
-
Hi there,
I’ve used the Instagram Embed block on one of my blog posts (still in draft mode). But the Instagram posts are displayed full width (and it’s a little overwhelming).
Is there a way to reduce the size? There doesn’t seem to be a bounding box or any options in the side panel. I was thinking maybe adjusting with custom css, but I tried several things and it didn’t do anything.
Kindly let me know if there’s anything that can be done.
Thank you!

Howdy –
No problem, I’ll be glad to take a look to see if there are any options. Which draft post are you specifically working on? I just need the title. Thanks :)

Hi staff-zinnia!
The title in drafts is “Shopper Experience blog” for now (WIP, as you can see).
I have embedded two Instagram posts, and I was planning on including a few more, but at their current size it will make for a terrible UX and a very long post.
Thanks for your help!

Currently we don’t have any control over what Instagram sends over besides maybe being able to adjust it via Custom CSS.
With embeds, it’s a bit difficult to say if that will be possible, it depends on many factors, but we can try a few things out after the post is published if you’d like us to.

Thank you for looking into this, staff-blorbo.
I think I will publish them as images for now, as I want to get it up and share it asap…
However, I would like to find a solution. I could publish a separate test blog with an embedded Instagram post if you are able to help me. I’ll reply when the test blog is live.
Kind regards,
