Resizing Instagram photos?

Hi everyone! So I’m trying to resize a photo from Instagram in my text post but typing out the shortcode doesn’t seem to do anything:
[instagram url=http://instagram.com/p/x57BztHQdQ/ width=300 height=300]
No matter what I type in, it still comes up as the largest 612 pixel size. Anyone know any other fix?

Hi there. I don’t think it’s possible to resize the image this way. If it were possible the support doc on the short code would probably have mentioned it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/instagram/instagram-images/
Another option would be to download the image from Instagram and insert it into your post like a regular image. Then you’ll be able to resize it like you would any other image. You can still link the image to the Instagram URL if you want to so readers get taken to your instagram if they click the image.

Yeah, that’s the conclusion I seem to have come up with : I found some older posts and forums saying that it could be fixed this way, but I’m guessing that’s been changed since then. Thanks for the suggestion!
