Resizing photos
-
Hi can you please show me how to make all of my images the same size? They look the same on this site but when I view my blog on my website all of the photos are different sizes. Very frustrating. Thank you!

Hi –
What is the site address that you need help with?
Here’s the image support doc: https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/
There is a ton of helpful information there. Here’s the link to help you resize the images. Try and resize them all to the same standard size. https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-editing/

Hi lizkarkoski. my site is kellicreates.wordpress.com
I am new to blogging but I am unable to find the ‘menu’ button to resize images that support refers me to. When I upload an image they all look the same size, but once added to my blog they are all different sizes. I have them set to standard. Looks horribe on my website :(

I recommend using a free image editor first to create images of exactly the size you want and then uploading them into your site. https://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2012/03/26/cropper-or-proper-image-preparation/
That way you will get the best images quality, you won’t be wasting your free media storage space allocation, and you won’t be troubleshooting images.

P.S. All WordPress.com blogs come with 3 GB of space for uploaded files and images. Just in case you are not aware of it, every time you re-size an image in your blog the software creates another image and that means your free media storage space is being used up https://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/
