Resizing sidebar icons to fit screen size?

    Is there any way I can have responsive social media icons?
    I was editing the size of them yesterday on my friends mac (which had a large screen size), yet when I scale back down onto my smaller netbook the icons fall onto 2 lines.
    My mobile view is fine because that displays the icons at the bottom, but the tablet version has the same issue.

    It just looks a bit untidy having 3 icons on one line and then one on a second in this view, and so I was wondering whether there was any code or tricks that could make it resize to fit the screen size?
