resizing text boxes

  i would like to resize the text box which is on my home page. There is too much blank space around the text. How do I do this?

  Please try the CSS code below:
  body.single .content.center { width: 100%; }

  If you like to decrease the padding, the empty area within the white box:

  .post-header, .single .post-content {padding: 4% 6%;}

  I used to know html fairly well 15 years ago but it’s so complex now its hard to know unless it’s your vocation.
