Resolution of Uploaded Videos

    I upload and insert 720 or 1080 high definition videos to my Blog. When I view them from the Blog the resolution is greatly reduced – they are dreadful in full screen mode. But if I view them from the WordPress Media section they play sharp and clear in the resolution they were taken in. I thought that since I am paying for gigs for videos readers would view them as they were uploaded. Is there something I am missing in the uploading process?”video resolution

    Hello there,
    Will you please provide active links to some of these videos when you contact Staff directly by using this link? http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.

    Thanks. I’ve done as you suggest. I guess this makes my question a separate SUPPORT request. Probably should close out this FORUM one.

    But the process confuses me – so I will leave both open for a while.
