Resonar Theme – Page/blog titles not showing on Featured Images?

  Hi there, I’m working on setting up a genealogy site, and I really like how this theme handles featured images with typography on top. But I’ve been up and down the customization options and page edit options a dozen times and just can’t get the page titles to show up superimposed over the photo.

  Just to be clear, if you look at the theme demo, the page title “First Sunday Cooking in Our Brand New Kitchen” appears floating over the Featured image. In my blog, the title just appears below the image in plain text.

  I’m sure I’m missing something simple, but I can’t tell what it is. I’m using Chrome if it makes a difference.

  You’re nearly there! Making your post a “sticky post” by changing the visibility to “sticky” will get the post looking like it does in the demo.

  Hi does anyone know how to have this featured image displayed when you load your website? My page just loads with my posts listed and the linages to the left, but i want a large featured image above it, how do i make this possible?

  How do I see the “About” page from resonar? It says I have published it but I can’t see access to it from my main page. Thanks!

  Hi Marcia, in WP Admin, head to Appearance > Menus, and create a custom menu. Add your About page to the menu, and make sure to assign the menu to the “Primary Menu” location in the theme and save it when you’re done.

  With Resonar, If I upgrade to the CSS customization option, is there any way to display my posts titles without the huge featured image underneath it?

  @brentdsheffield, yes, the featured image can be hidden with CSS.
