Resonar theme to display menu and put title on header

  I’m setting up a new Blog and love the look of Resonar’s free theme which says it has menu. I have followed the directions you gave me previously, added the menu, assigned my “about” page to the primary menu but it still isn’t showing on the main page.
  Also, I saw that I need to make the title line “sticky” so it will float on top of the header photo but i don’t see that option on the customize option.

  P.S. It took a few tries and some time but the “About” page is now showing! I am still trying to get the title line to be on top of the photo as is shown in the theme selection display page.
  I don’t see a way to make that one line “sticky” I don’t see a publish/edit box for that line? Thanks again!

  You site is constructed differently than the demo. That is why the site title doesn’t appear in the same place on the front page. The demo actually doesn’t have a header image, as you can see by looking at the About page, for example, or an archive page such as https://resonardemo.wordpress.com/2015/. Instead, in the demo the image at the top of the front page is the featured image for the most recent post.

  I believe the featured image of a sticky post will replace the header image, so you might not necessarily have to remove the header image to get the result that your aiming for.

  I believe the featured image of a sticky post will replace the header image, so you might not necessarily have to remove the header image to get the result that your aiming for.

  I haven’t yet tested to see where the site title would appear in the case of a sticky post with a featured image.

  Since the effect you’re aiming for is to have the site title at the top of the front page, the easiest way to achieve this result would be to remove the header. However, doing so would also remove the header from static pages and archives pages, a result you might not want.

  wognotperfect – try putting a large featured image (min. 2000px wide and 1500px high works best) on the sticky post “What’s in the Brew?” and the display should be more like it is on the demo site.

  Yes, the menu will still show. If you take a peek at the demo site, you’ll see that the menu will be at the top right of the page.
