Resources for users switching from non-Jetpack ‘Portfolio Post Type’ to Jetpack Portfolio?

  Before Jetpack’s portfolio content type was available, I was using a popular third-party plugin called ‘Portfolio Post Type’ (https://wptheming.com/portfolio-post-type/).

  Now, I’m using a theme that supports Jetpack’s portfolios but it isn’t working 100% because it is picking up the old portfolio first. I’ve disabled the old portfolio type and deleted all portfolio items from the plugin but new portfolios are not fully supported the way they should be.

  Do you have any resources for users who have also made the switch from this old plugin?

  It might be worth contacting the theme author to see whether they have any advice or have come across the same issue before.
