Response time from staff?

    Hello, what is the response time from Terms of Service staff? I sent them a message for one of my other blogs earlier today and have not yet heard anything. Wondering how long the wait is, especially on the weekend. Unsure if they are M-F only or seven days a week.

    I do not have an answer for that question and no other Volunteer has an answer either. One day is not long to wait and many bloggers wait for days longer than that for Staff support.

    This is a peer support forum where Staff and Volunteers work together cooperatively to provide WordPress.com support. Volunteers answer the majority of all peer support forum questions and when we cannot provide support we tag threads for Staff assistance.

    Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets created by email and support form use in order of datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.

    How long it takes to clear the support tickets and any forum threads tagged for their attention depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.

    When bloggers email Staff and complete contact forms and then post here thinking they are going to get service from Staff more quickly they aren’t thinking straight, because that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response. The same is true if you email more than once the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help.
    Bottom line: Patience is virtue.

    I will not tag this thread for Staff because doing that means the datestamp and timestamp will send it to the back of the queue.

    This is the first time I’ve ever tried to contact staff, so I had no idea what to expect in terms of turnaround time. This is helpful, thank you.

    Hi, sorry just wondering how to contact wordpress staff? I can’t seem to find an email anywhere and am desperate to talk to them as all my posts have been deleted!
