  How does one respond to a comment? There is no link to click on that says respond.

  Some people respond by editing the original comment and including their response at the bottom. I think that’s too much work :) Others respond by simply posting a comment of their own, and addressing the comment to the person who made the original comment.

  I don’t think there’s a simple way to inform the commenter that you’ve replied. You can sometimes use their ID info to contact them, but that’s a chore. It’s best to let them re-visit the article and look for themselves. The software for blog comments isn’t ideal for chatting — just commenting.
