You seem to have changed your website program so that I can’t just reply to comments from my readers without giving my address, name and designing a gravator. Or am I doing something wrong.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are trying to respond to a comment using an email address associated with Gravatar or WordPress.com, the system will indeed require that you log into that account. That is for our users’ protection, so that no one else can comment using credentials associated with our services.

But I’m the author of the blog, responding to a reader–which I’m unable to do now. I used to just “reply” and Bob’s your uncle.

If you are logged into your account, then you shouldn’t have to sign in under your Gravatar account again. If you do, it’s possible you don’t have third-party cookies enabled in your browser:

That has worked before. I’ve just hit response/reply (I can’t remember which term is used), write my comment and hit “send” (or whatever). That doesn’t work any longer.
-
If it worked in the past, it’s possible that you were already been logged into WordPress.com or had cookies that remembered your status.
