Responsive menu change text colour and Menu title

  hi all .
  i am currently struggling to change the text colour on the menu items
  i have managed to change the title colour but cannot work out how to change the rest.

  also when i close the responsive menu the black background colour return … i do not know why this is happening either …

  also is it possible to replace the title with a ‘3 bar’ menu box as i think it looks cleaner.
