REST API Response: (404) Not Found

    I am using Astra Theme,I have no plug-ins installed, and I have only one default- theme twenty-twenty-three installed. I am trying to update and post a new page, and I get the following response “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response”.

    In the Site Health, I find the following message

    When testing the REST API, an unexpected result was returned:

    REST API Endpoint: http://44.196.194.108/wp-json/wp/v2/types/post?context=edit
    REST API Response: (404) Not Found”

    I tried saving the Permalinks, I installed the SSL plug-in, I installed the trouble shoot plug-ins, and none of these techniques have worked. With or without the plug-ins, I get the same error regardless. I went to the settings – general and switched the two URL from http to https and the website crashed. I have an SSL certificate installed on my load balancer in Amazon. I am hosting the wordpress on Amazon Ec2 instance. Please advise

    Hello there,

    I’m not seeing any sites under your WordPress.com account, so it’s possible the site is hosted somewhere else. That would mean it’s on WordPress.org site rather than WordPress.com, and outside our scope of support.
