Restart stats from zero: is it possible?

  I imported my blog into wordpress.com and now, while I am doing a little of “maintenance”, the blog is private. Is it possible to restart my stats from zero the day I will make the blog public?

  Not directly, no it is not. You can contact staff and see if they would do it for you.
