Restore a domain name

  Hi,

  I recently cancelled a domain name but would like to restore it.

  Is there anyway to do this.

  There are no custom domains owned by the account you are contacting us from. Which domain would you like to restore?

  If you purchased it through WordPress.com, please try logging out and then log back in using the email address your receipt was sent to. If you reply here afterwards, I can have a look at your options.

  Hi,

  Thanks for the quick response!

  I purchased a domain through WordPress.com, but requested a refund. I believe the refund has been processed but is there a way to restore this purchase and restore my domain as it seems now to be a parked domain?

  Hi there,

  What is the domain name that you are referring to? It has to be under a different WordPress.com account than the one you are contacting us from.

  If the domain is parked, we can most likely restore it for you. I’d be happy to take a look for you.

  Hi,

  The domain name was thetoptenclub.com

  I have just realized that I purchased it on my other account. It would be great if you could restore this domain for me.

  Thanks and you’re right, thetoptenclub.com was purchased through a different account. We’ll be happy to help but we’ll need the request to come from that account first. Could you log in to that one and reply here?

  Thank you for confirming from the correct account.

  I’ve restored the domain to your account, so you’ll be able to use it again.

  You cancelled your upgrades after the 48 hour refund periods for domains, so only the non-domain portion of your plan was refunded, not the domain. So no further payment is needed at this time.
