Restore a referrer as not spam
-
Hi there,
Playing with the referrer stats, I was trying to find out what the 3 dots were supposed to do… and I stupidly marked “instagram” and “myhanse.com” as spam. After searching the forum, it looks like there is no way to restore them from my end.
Could anyone in staff please help me on that and undo my mistake ?
Let me know if I can help.Best regards,

That site is not on our WordPress.COM servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
This is wordpress.COM support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.
(3) sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page. The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.com/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

Hi, thanks for your quick reply.
I am pretty sure it is a wordpress.COM website ; we have a personal plan and we use the wordpress.com web interface and android app.
Or am I that really that clumsy??Could you please double check ?
Best regards,

You are right. I just checked and it is hosted here. I am so sorry and I humbly apologize.
Please note that you can undo the action immediately after clicking on it, but it will not be possible to undo it later, after you have left your stats page. However, this is only removing referrers from showing up in your stats, not preventing people from visiting your site, so it shouldn’t have any impact on your site or your overall stats.

Thanks again.
I know it won’t hurt people visiting… but still…
Is there a way to have some staff/technical person to un-spam those 2 referers ? It’s quite a big portion of the traffic on our blog.
Nothing urgent, but I’d really like this to be done eventually. -
Thanks timethief for “typing modlook”. Our 2 last messages crossed, I missed your reply.
I’ll be patient :) -

I’ve unblocked Instagram from your referrers list, so it should start showing in your stats again.

This seems to be a real problem, I made the same mistake just now – I tagged Pinterest as Spam on my site as well (damn mobile) and it’s not spam, and I need to see this data since I’m running a campaign on Pinterest. Can someone out please help me out to untag this?
