restore blog

Hello, today, June 14/16, I was “editing” my blog and as it turns out, all my images got deleted somehow too. I’m hoping that if my blog can be restored to the original way it looked I can try again to edit it without deleting the photos as well.
And if there is a preferred method to editing the blog without losing the image files could you please point me in the right direction so I don’t do this again?

Hi there,
Your site’s logs show that you deleted a large number of images from your media library. Deleting images from the library is permanent, meaning there is no way to restore them, and will also remove those images from any posts where they were added. Posts only contain links to images in the library, so if you delete an image from the library that link is pointing to something that no longer exists.
You can still restore the posts you deleted from Trash, but you’ll need to add the images back manually.

Thank you, Yes, I did remove some of the images from the blog that I no longer needed as I was updating it and removing some of the posts. When I looked at my blog though, even though the pictures where still in the image library they place where they were on the post was blank and I couldn’t reload the images back into the original posts at all. Thoughts?

Hi Sherry,
On the candles page all the images are loading for me.
On the soap page, those images appear to have been deleted from your media library. Comparing the image links in the page to your site’s logs, those images were deleted five months ago.
In the posts at the third link all the images are loading for me.
So, in the case of any missing images I can find it’s because the images were deleted from the media library some time ago. There is no way for us to restore them.

Ok, thank you, I don’t remember deleting any images, but who knows! I’ll mess around with the blog some more and try to reload the images from here or completely redo the particular pages.
