restore breadcrumb navigation menu

  hi
  how do i restore the breadcrumb navigation menu again?
  the reason i deleted it was that the trail was inaccurate at some points i.e. it left out certain pages.

  You need to remove the line of custom CSS that reads:

  .breadcrumbs {
      display: none;
  }

  Hi. Thanks for this. how are you? Can you pls remind me how to get all pages in a breadcrumb trail to be represented for example its not showing:

  Im findin g this very hard to get my head around:)

  I did what you suggested for one page:
  “If you want this item to show in your breadcrumb list, perhaps create a “Melton” page that gives an overview of this section and use that for the “Courses>Melton” link.”
  but its still not working correctly?

  I want trail to be:
  home>courses>melton>core
  or
  home>courses>melton>foundations
  etc

  You need to edit the Page Attributes of the pages you want to appear in the menu.

  Open the ‘melton’ page to edit and have a look at the ‘Page Attributes – Parent’ section.

  You want to make the ‘melton’ page a child of the ‘courses’ page.

  Then edit the ‘core’ page and make it a child of the ‘melton’ page.

  You will need to edit each of the pages that you would like to appear in the breadcrumb menu.

  Great thank you.
  This makes sense and I’ve started doing the changes to the parent page but notice something strange:
  There are two ‘home’ crumbs at the beginning of the breadcrumb menu.
  if you click on courses>melton>core. ?

  It looks like your ‘Melton’ page has been deleted. The extra Home link is where the ‘Melton’ link should be.

  And only appears on Child links under the ‘Melton’ section.

  I understand what you are saying but I haven’t got the concentration to sort this out now so have made the breadcrumbs invisible again for now and will come back to it in a few days. will be in touch again. thanks for your quick responses :)
