Restore default fonts/remove custom styles
-
My site keeps saying ‘Your site includes customized styles that are only visible to visitors after upgrading to the Premium plan or higher.’ I don’t want to upgrade, I just want to remove custom styles and restore the defaults. But the online instructions don’t work.
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

But the online instructions don’t work.
Can you give us a link to the instructions you’re referring to? Thanks.
When I tested changing fonts in the Site Editor I encountered a number of banners, both in the Site Editor and in the Preview, that gave me the option to “Remove Custom Fonts.”

I have the same problem, somehow it saved something in a Custom Style, the issue seems to be the revision is pending as I am on a free plan so the reset default is greyed out as it was never applied, seems to be a bug, I just want to get back to where I was.
I hope “dont preview styles” will enable me to se what a reader would. (Dash->Appearance->editor)

Hey folks, I checked both of your sites, and from your perspective, I can see the upgrade nudge, but neither of you can reset styles because you’re not using them. This seems to be a bug, so we’ll get that filed for you.
In the meantime, if you view the site with a logged-out window, you’ll see exactly what your users see, and in both of your cases, it looks very much like it does to you. Minus that upgrade prompt. Sorry about that! We’ll be working on a fix.

Looks like there’s already a fix in the works now, so that nudge should disappear soon. In the meantime, rest assured your users are not seeing it. Cheers!
