Hi there,
I can revert the theme to how it looks on the demo for you. Did you want to retrain the content on your site or were you wanting to delete the site content as well?
To verify, let me know what site you want the theme change for.
Thanks!

Hi There
Thanks for coming back to me.
Yes, I want to retain the content please. I haven’t backed it up because I cant work out how.
I really would like the “call to action” button to be available again, its important for me. I tried reinstalling it again and don’t understand why it doesn’t appear.
The site in question is The Beach House, Malindi

Okay, I can take care of reverting the theme back to its original format. One forewarning, – when I revert the theme, it sometimes duplicate pages. So, the home, about, and other pages that are on the demo appear as well. However, all you need to do is delete those pages and you should be set. Just let me know if that works and I’ll continue with the reset.
Thanks!

Thanks for doing this for me, very kind.
On the home page, how do I make the 3 panels below the menu bar contain the pages I write? Indeed how do I make sure the 3 panels are actually there?
Instead of being 3 across the page, its now doesn’t seem to exist except for F&M’s page, with nothing to its right. I want the Star Party blog to sit there and a B&B one next to that. Across the page not stacked on top of one another.
What I was trying to achieve was all 3 panels remaining horizontally across the page and the panels staying there with generic semi permanent info that should hang about – like the star party post and Fangs & Monsters post, I then want a page alongside dedicated to the B&B.
When I was doing the site before, the widget section was doing my head in because every time I adapted a widget it then stacked vertically on the left hand side. Trying to fix that led to mayhem.
Was whole was starting to look like a shopping list unfortunately. Any help or hints to avoid or fix the above?
Thanks again
Rory

Hi Rory,
The Gateway support page provides step by step instructions on how to set up the three panels on your front page:
https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/gateway/
Please read through those directions and let me know if you have any questions. We can go through the steps together if you get hung up at any part of the process. Thanks!

Hi
Thanks for helping last time. I am having trouble with the Call to Action button again.
It worked fine after you reset the site for me. but yesterday I noticed the button no longer worked and I get a 404 error instead. I have tried adding the link again to the button instruction, with no luck. But pasting the same link into google or bing works fine.
I looked up a possible fix for this on google and the forums here but none really addressed it, except one. Sadly that one was way over my head, and I just dont understand a word of it.
Is there anything you can do?
Would be very grateful, thanks
Rory

Hey there,
Go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Options, and under Hero Content what you’ll need to do is replace what is between the quotes with the URL of the page you want the button to lead to.
Let me know if that makes sense. Thanks!
-
Thanks for coming back to me. Yeah that make perfect sense and I have been trying that.
I paste the air b&b link into the call to action button instruction and save it. After doing that. sadly pushing the Call to Action button leads to a 404 error on an air b&b website. If I paste the same link into Google or Bing it works fine. So the link I’m pasting in exists and works.
Its must be something wrong with the wordpress end, but I dont understand it I’m afraid.

Hey there,
Do you mind providing me with the URL? I’d be happy to try it on my end and see if I can get it to work. Thanks!
Or you can try to add it under a different browser – see if you get the same error message.
Thanks!

I came across this potential fix, but am very wary of going down a road I dont understand at all.
