Hello
Did you look in your trash folder?
https://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/ <- describes it better than i can!Take a look there and let us know if you were able to seccessfully recover them!
best,
dave -
No, they were deleted also from the trash.
Is is possible to restore the Posts without restoring the users (apart from the admin)?
Thank you
-
I am sorry to hear that!
I added a couple tags to this thread asking the Word{ress folks to take a look. It MAY be possible for them to restore your site from an archived copy. It will help if you could tell us when the deletion happened so they have an idea which archive.Since i am unfamiliar with the restore process, i do not know if just the posts can be restored, or if the access to the users who created them has to be restored as well. The WOrdPress folks should be able to answer that as well.
best,
dave -
Thank you, the deletion happened this morning. Around noon time (in Switzerland).
The posts were all created by the admin (=me).
It is important for me that the Posts be restored but NOT the “personnes” = people who I invited to read.
Thank you

they were deleted also from the trash.
Once posts/pages have been deleted from the trash, it is not possible to restore them. If your site was visible to the Public, you may be able to find copies of the posts/pages either in Google’s cache of your site or on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine https://archive.org/ If they are available, you’ll need to copy and paste them as new posts. The only other possibility is if you exported and kept an XML backup of your site.

The blog was not open to the public.
what about the restoration form an ARCHIVE on WORDPRESS?

From the support doc that dave2swords linked to:
Another user deleted the post or page
If an item has been permanently deleted from your blog by an authorized user, there is no way to recover it, so be very careful when permanently deleting anything from your blog, and assign the proper user role for blogs with multiple users.
Sorry for no better news.

Hi there,
There are still 22 posts in the trash that you can restore:
https://reardonusadventure.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=trash&post_type=post
But it’s not possible to restore posts that have already been removed from the trash.

Please, guys, I know that I can restore the ones in the trash – thank you for that BUT I am asking about the ones that were deleted from the trash.
By the way, how can you access my account? is it not only for invited users??? Thanks
-
Glad to hear that @kokkieh. Thanks for those x-ray glasses again. :)
@irisreardonkofmel Once your posts have been restored, you will want to create your own back up file from time to time using this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
Concerning removing your viewers, you can remove them under https://wordpress.com/people/viewers/ (hopefully that is the correct new link given the changes around here). If you don’t find them there, you should be able to find and remove them at https://reardonusadventure.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php Under Site visibility>Users allowed to access site:

Thank you.
It’s acutally not a blog I inted to continue – hence the deletion. My ex-inlaws – who were once invited – now wanted to access it and I forgot to block them. So, when I saw that they joined the blog, I deleted all the posts … but would have loved to keep them for myself…
if there is ANY way in recuperating the once that are deleted from the trash I would love to hear.
