Restore deleted domain

Hi there!
I hope what I am about to say makes some sort of sense.
I am having issues finding out how to restore/transfer my domain name. I started a website under hannahkvelez.wordpress.com. I did not like the template I had and chose to create a new website under a temporary name hannahkaymarie.wordpress.com.
In an attempt to use “hannahkvelez” for my new site, I changed the first website name to hannahkaymariee.wordpress.com. However, it told me I was still unable to use “hannahkvelez”.I deleted the first website to see if that would help, but it still won’t let me change my domain to hannahkvelez.wordpress.com.
If you’re able to help at all, that would be great. I would like for my website domain to be the same as all my other social media handles for job application purposes.
To clarify, the domain I am hoping to use is hannahkvelez.wordpress.com

I see you’re interested in reusing the site address hannahkvelez.wordpress.com, which was deleted earlier. Unfortunately, site addresses can’t be reused. You can find more details about this here:
